KOVANLUCKA STREET RESIDENTS NOT SATISFIED WITH DYNAMICS AND QUALITY OF WORKS Residents of Palilula, Kovanlucka street soon will get reconstructed and street with pavement, at least the authorities say so. After the call of the citizens, Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality, together with his associates visited last weekend this location. In the conversation with the representatives of workers MD Gradnja inzenjering transport, president Dzunic transferred the dissatisfaction of the residents of this settlement of Palilula, about the dynamics and quality of works. The adaptation of this street is in the programme of priorities of infrastructural objects and projects that Palilula submitted to the City of Nis. For these purposes from the City budget about 3 million RSD dinars are allocated. I do not know why the works are not going according to dynamics appropriate, said Dzunic. Kovanlucka street is in very bad state and according to the estimation of the citizens, is not safe for pedestrians, specially pupils, since there is no pavement in large part of it. The problem of stopping traffic in Konvalucka street, that connects center of Palilula with Donje Vlase village and with the other side it goes to Novo groblje, created great dissatisfaction. While the drivers are angry with the situation, residents of this longest Nis street are waiting patiently for the works to be done. For now the part of the street with the biggest damage is being paved, about 700 meters and the works according to the information from Direction for city construction should be completed by the end of September. In Palilula Municipality it is emphasized that people intensively work on the adaptation of this infrastructure in this municipality. The reconstruction of water pipe and sewerage system, road infrastructure, transport of citizens, care for the old, improvement of agriculture production, are only some of the activities that Palilula Municipality in the last two years has been successfully completing with the support of the City and number of projects in the settlements of this municipality.
